Nexia order form V2.9 rules & sources

The primary order reference is NEXIA+BATTEN+CTS-V2.9-T1.xlsx. Data S5:Y13 defines profiles, including SLAT65 at 65 mm face × 16.5 mm depth and two halves per complete batten. The Exterior Systems V4 brochure supplies profile appearance and Radius shape.

Front mounting continues one batten pattern over the full face of each group of fixed bays, including its posts. Posts sit behind the battens and rails fit between supports. Both mounting layouts use the selected Fast Fit open brackets. Gates retain the form’s 50 mm side margins and hardware clearances.

Panel count = floor((width − 2 × initial edge gap + minimum gap) / (face + minimum gap)). Initial edge gap is 5 mm for batten-at-end, or the minimum gap for equal-end-gap layout. Actual gap is recalculated with that count. Gates always use 50 mm side margins and round the count down.

Rail-supported panels: 500–2400 mm wide and 500–6100 mm high. Rails = max(2, ceil((height − top overhang − bottom overhang − 40) / 2000 + 1)). Fast Fit rail cuts deduct 10 mm from panel width. Batten and clip cuts deduct 4 mm per selected cap/plate/connector.

Hinged frames: 500–1500 mm wide per leaf and 500–2000 mm high. Mid-rail is required over 1000 mm leaf width. Sliding width includes overlap and rounds up to 2 mm, with a 6,100 mm manual maximum or a 6,000 mm Filo 400 Pro maximum. Sliding frame height is measured from ground, including a 31 mm bottom allowance. Track, wheels, guides, motors, hinges and latches are ordered separately.

Caps and plates for Alpine Ash use Paperbark; Western Red Cedar uses Terrain. Quantities include two screws per batten/rail fixing and 1% allowance. At least one connector or end plate per batten is recommended. Verify assembly weight against the suggested 60 kg limit.

Sliding frame covers and infill allow for both rails and both sides. Full stock lengths and screw packs are supplied for site assembly. Gate operating hardware is ordered separately. Selling prices are checked with Shopify when pricing and adding your project to a cart.
